Annual Compost Collection Program

October 19 to 26

We offer our residents a free compost collection program each year. Program guidelines:

  • Place your compost material in see-through bags or paper yard waste bags

  • Bags may only contain leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste

  • Branches are not accepted, and twigs thicker than a pen are not accepted

  • Unlimited number of bags residents can be left for pickup

  • Bags should be left on the boulevard, not streets or sidewalks

  • Compost is collected from streets on that street's designated "no on street parking" day

  • Drop compost off for free at the WMF if you can't take part in the compost collection program

  • After October 26, 2026, residents who wish to have their compostable material collected must take their bags to the WMF.
