Battlefords Citizens on Patrol
Battlefords Citizens on Patrol
A dedicated group of volunteers, Citizens on Patrol, works with local law enforcement agencies (including the City’s Community Safety Officers and Battlefords RCMP detachment) to serve as an extra set of eyes and ears on the ground.
While patrolling in pairs, volunteers report possible suspicious activity to law enforcement from the safety of a vehicle, and they patrol one shift of approximately three hours per month. This group assists in keeping our community safe and is always looking for more volunteers to increase patrols in the Battlefords.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s licence and a clear criminal record. This is an excellent opportunity for any individuals wishing to give back to their community, or for anyone who is interested in a career in law enforcement, community service, or security.
